A special biological “glue” is used to fix the plates together. This natural “glue” has the power to melt the outer surface of each plate so that the colors can be combined with greater harmony. This “sandwich” is then pressed at a warm temperature for 24 to 36 hours.
Then begins the long and delicate process of giving the final shape and size to each of the parts that will make the final frame. This process is entirely done by hand, using only a file and a polishing wheel.
The plates are then ready to be transformed into eyeglasses.

The shaping of the fronts and temples is done by placing the assembled plates onto a cutting tool which is guided manually, giving a rough cut-out.
